Othello seems to be going along the right track. His White Blood Cell count continues to rise, as well as his other counts. His bone marrow appears to have "kicked in". Hopefully it will continue on an upward trend.

He is drinking formula and water by mouth, in addition to taking his formula by G-Tube. It is GREAT. At last weigh in, he was 9.9 kilos (21 and 3/4 lbs approx.) He is chunking up again!!!

The Drs and RNs in the PICU have been wonderful. They have nursed Othello back to feeling better. The bruises are going away, he has more energy, he is happier and even laughed today. Things are going well - and we hope to continue seeing progress.
